• Two Westerville South High School students were arrested at about 1 p.m. Oct. 15 after another student reported that they were in possession of a knife in the school, 303 S. Otterbein Ave. Both students were charged with possession of a weapon in a school safety zone.

• Between 9 p.m. Oct. 18 and 9 a.m. Oct. 19, someone used a razor blade to carve obscene words into the entrance door, stall doors, stall divider and changing table in the women's restroom at Walnut Ridge Park, 513 E. Walnut St. Police did not list the cost of the damage but the stall doors and the divider will have to be replaced, according to the report.

• A 20-year-old man was charged with theft after allegedly stealing two DVDs, valued at a total of $70, from Meijer, 100 Polaris Parkway, at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 20.

• A 60-year-old woman was arrested for OVI at 1 a.m. Oct. 22 in the parking lot of Kroger, 55 W. Schrock Road. According to police reports, Kroger employees called officers after the woman was seen opening and drinking from a bottle of vodka off a store shelf. She exited the store without paying for the liquor and attempted to drive away before she was pulled over by police.

• Two men were arrested for attempting to steal clothing from Kohl's, 133 Huber Village Blvd., at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 22.

• A 42-year-old man was charged with OVI, speeding and weaving following a traffic stop at Sunbury Road and Walnut Street at 2:15 a.m. on Oct. 24.

• A 44-year-old man was charged with OVI and consumption of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at Polaris Woods Boulevard and Polaris Parkway at 3 a.m. Oct. 24.

• Theft charges were filed in Franklin County Juvenile Court against a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy for allegedly attempting to steal $240 worth of clothing from Kohl's, 133 Huber Village Blvd., at about noon Oct. 24.

• A 49-year-old woman was arrested for attempting to steal $574 worth of merchandise from Meijer, 100 Polaris Parkway at 10:10 p.m. Oct. 24.

• A 20-year-old man was charged with OVI following a traffic stop at Cleveland Avenue and Hanawalt Drive at about 2:25 .m. Oct. 25.

• Police were called to St. Ann's Hospital Oct. 26 after a man came in with a stab wound, claiming that it occurred during a home invasion at residence on South Spring Road around 3 a.m. Oct. 25. Because the victim was uncooperative, police reported they would not be investigating the assault or a potential burglary.

• A 23-year-old man was charged with OVI, a stop sign violation, a weaving course violation and resisting arrest at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 26 near the intersection of College Avenue and Vine Street. According to police, the man's father called to report that the man left home drunk in his car. He was pulled over after police witnessed the vehicle swerving.

• A vehicle's window was smashed out and a computer case containing a laptop and computer accessories was stolen between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Oct. 27 in the parking lot of the Rusty Bucket, 400 Polaris Parkway.

• A home on North Otterbein Avenue was broken into between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 28, and two flat-screen televisions were stolen.

• A 48-year-old woman was arrested and charged with OVI at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 29 at Walnut Street and Sunbury Road. Police were called to a gas station where the woman was parked after another person witnessed the woman's vehicle strike a car on Walnut Street and followed her to the gas station, where she was seen getting out of the car and falling down before telling the witness that she had just taken a Valium.

• A 27-year-old woman was pulled over at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the corner of Westerville Road and College Avenue after police witnessed her driving a car with one tire missing. After issuing a field sobriety test and searching the vehicle, the woman was arrested and charged with OVI, operating an unsafe vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

• A bench was stolen from the front of Serendipity, 33. E. College Ave., between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Oct. 30.

• A home in the 3600 block of Watt Road was broken into and ransacked between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 22. Three televisions, a camera, camcorder, two mp3 players, speakers, collectors' coins and bedding were reported stolen.
