Schools collaborate on trip project
Wednesday,  March 25, 2009 1:45 PM
The campuses of Worthington Christian Schools worked together to prepare for the senior class trip to the Dominican Republic.

High school students raised funds for "Feed the Villages." A donor contributed a dollar-for-dollar matching gift of up to $2,000, allowing the high school to feed a very substantial number of families.

Westview Elementary students collected school supplies to donate to village and orphanage schools.

Powell Elementary and middle school students collected medical supplies such as vitamins, Tylenol, and antifungal and antibiotic creams.

Preschool students collected white T-shirts for children in the Dominican Republic to paint. Each child will get to decorate and keep a shirt.

The Worthington Christian seniors departed for their trip March 19.
