A thief got away with $500 in restaurant equipment after breaking into a Berlin Township business, according to Delaware County Sheriff's Office reports.

A woman reported a burglary occurred between 4 p.m. March 14 and 4 p.m. April 4 in the 5200 block of Columbus Pike. Someone broke into the business through the front door and stole three ice wells, together valued at $750, according to sheriff's reports.

Someone also caused $500 worth of damage to the building by breaking the front door's lock and shattering a window, reports said.

Investigators have not identified suspects in the case, according to sheriff's reports.

* An employee of a business reported a burglary occurred between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. March 29 in the first block of Meadow Park Avenue in Orange Township. Someone entered the business and stole 27 cartons of cigarettes, together valued at $1,624, according to sheriff's reports.

* An employee of a business reported a theft took place between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. April 1 in the 8800 block of Columbus Pike in Orange Township. Someone attempted to steal $905 worth of merchandise from the business, reports said.

Deputies arrested a 70-year-old Columbus woman on charges of possessing criminal tools and theft, both first-degree misdemeanors, reports said.

* A woman reported thefts from two vehicles occurred between 10 p.m. April 3 and noon April 4 in the 2700 block of Quail Crossing Drive in Liberty Township. Someone stole about $10 in change from the vehicles, according to sheriff's reports.

* Powell police officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress shortly before 3:30 a.m. March 25 in the 9000 block of Francine Lane. Someone stole golf clubs valued at $3,500 and golf balls valued at $880, among other items, from a garage, according to police reports.

Investigators have identified a suspect in the case, according to police reports.

* A man reported a theft from a vehicle took place between 5 p.m. March 23 and 8 a.m. March 24 in the 3600 block of Stoneway Point. Someone stole a tablet computer valued at $550 and a drill worth $450 from a car, according to police reports.

* A man reported a theft from a vehicle occurred between 1:30 and 8 a.m. April 4 in the 100 block of Celler Court. Someone stole tools valued at $2,000 from the vehicle, reports said.

* A woman reported a theft from a vehicle occurred between 10 p.m. April 3 and 7 a.m. April 4 in the 700 Middlebury Way. Someone stole a wallet valued at $50, along with $30 in cash and a $20 gift card, according to reports.
