The annual Networking & Business Expo sponsored by the Reynoldsburg Area Chamber of Commerce is part of the organization's effort to get residents to "shop local."
"You hear a lot of things about the economy, but we want people to remember to shop local," chamber director Mary Hudson said. "People should get to know businesses in our area and see that there are many that can serve their needs.
"The Expo is a great opportunity to casually meet people," she said. "It's always nice to know what is out there."
The Expo will be open to the public from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, at the Tall Timbers Banquet & Conference Center, 13831 National Road, Reynoldsburg.
"Almost every booth has small prizes and we will also have a 50/50 drawing," Hudson said.
Business owners and their representatives can set up at 2:30 p.m. that day and network from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Hudson said there are still spots available for participants. The fee for each booth is $150. Business owners and representatives should call the chamber at 614-866-4753 for more information.
Business coach Chris Brownwill speak at 5:30 p.m. and businesses will "speed-network" from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m.
