A woman contacted Columbus police from her home in the 100 block of Tibet Road at 11:04 p.m. April 6 regarding the theft earlier in the evening of her $1,200 laptop computer.

Between 7:55 and 8:03 p.m. that day, someone smashed the passenger-side window of her vehicle and stole the computer along with its power cord, according to reports.

In other recent Clintonville-area police reports:

* An unidentified victim said a man exposed himself in the 3900 block of North High Street between 1:46 and 2:02 p.m. April 13.

* A $13,000 trailer, the property of a utility company based in Lockland, was stolen from a parking lot in the 5200 block of North High Street, according to a report filed April 13. A representative said the trailer, along with a $5,000 hydraulic tool, a $200 piece of sheet metal and traffic cones worth $200, reportedly were taken after 4 p.m. the previous day.

* A woman said she was robbed of her $300 cellphone and $14 in cash at 12:25 a.m. April 11. The robbery took place in the 400 block of Broad Meadows Boulevard and was committed by more than one individual, reports said.
