Someone broke into a Westerville resident's detached garage and stole DJ equipment on the afternoon of April 4.

According to reports, the man was leaving his residence in the 1100 block of Whitney Lane when he noticed his garage door was open and saw a man walking away from the area.

He closed the garage door and left, returning about four hours later to find the door open yet again.

When he checked the garage, he noticed the equipment missing, reports stated.

There was no sign of forced entry, and the man was advised to change the password to his garage door.

* Someone damaged a bus that belonged to a Boy Scout troop while it sat in the 900 block of Sunbury Road between April 2 and 3.

According to reports, someone broke three windows. Police found a pipe in the area that they believe was used to cause the damage, which was estimated at $1,000, reports stated.

* A resident reported a bicycle was stolen from the 200 block of Myrtle Drive on the afternoon of April 8.
