A Worthington resident reported someone entered her garage and home and committed a burglary.

According to Worthington Division of Police reports, a resident of the 900 block of Middlebury Drive North left her garage door open from the evening of April 27 and April 28.

At 9:30 p.m. April 28, she noticed someone had entered the house.

She told police she was missing a purse from her vehicle and a laptop that was sitting on her coffee table.

No arrests have been made in the case.

In other recent incident reports from Worthington police:

* Multiple people fled the scene after trying to shoplift from a drug store on the 900 block of High Street on the afternoon of May 2.

A store employee confronted the individuals in the parking lot. When they saw the employee, they dropped several boxes of over-the-counter medication and ran away.

* Someone broke the window of a business on the first block of East Wilson Bridge Road on April 29.

The window was shattered, but police do not know who committed the vandalism or how it was done.
