CAM International Market, a staple for central Ohio’s Asian grocery-store shoppers, is moving to the Hilliard portion of Mill Run.

CAM, which closed May 7 in the Olentangy Plaza, will triple in size when it moves to the former ITT Technical Institute location at 3781 Park Mill Run Drive.

“The reason we are moving is because people want more items, more stuff, so we need to move to a bigger store,” manager Yu Cheng Lai said.

The market, which has been in operation for nearly 20 years, has been in its current 19,000-square-foot spot at 899 Bethel Road for three years. Prior to that, it was in a smaller storefront in the Olentangy Plaza.

Lai said the new store, set to open in September, will feature a wider selection of groceries, as well as items for which CAM has become known, such as hot and bubble-tea stations and a prepared-foods section.
