The U.S. Route 33 eastbound ramp to Interstate 270 is slated to close for repairs for five days beginning June 6.
The closure will allow the Ohio Department of Transportation to address damage to the bridge’s surface and walls from a tanker-truck accident in January. The truck, which was carrying 8,000 gallons of gasoline, damaged a third of the bridge deck and 250 feet of the bridge wall. Damages totaled more than $500,000.
The ramp will close at 8 p.m. June 6, weather permitting.
Drivers traveling eastbound on Route 33 will be rerouted to I-270 south to Tuttle Crossing Boulevard to I-270 north.
The ramp will reopen at 5 a.m. June 12.
