Bexley police said a resident in the 800 block of Cassingham Road reported someone entered her open detached garage on May 13 and stole a bicycle with an attached child seat. Police recovered the bicycle same day and returned it to the owner.

A man reported someone stole his bicycle between 3:30 and 6 p.m. May 18 from the bike rack in front of the Bexley Public Library, 2411 E. Main St.

A third resident reported someone stole his bicycle between May 18 and May 19 from the 2800 block of East Broad Street. The resident told police he had left the bicycle in the southeast stairwell of his apartment complex.

In other recent reports from the Bexley police department:

* A resident in the 2700 block of Allegheny Avenue reported someone vandalized her car on May 20. She stated her vehicle had a large scrape on the back hatch that appeared to be from a key scratching it.

* A resident in the first block of North Merkle Road reported that sometime between May 18 and May 19, someone entered her vehicle and stole an MP3 player, an auxiliary cord and five business car wash cards.
