Hilliard Division of Police officers responded to a pair of theft reports last month at Hilliard Darby High School, 4200 Leppert Road.

A tablet computer and its case, together worth $400, were reported stolen between 1 p.m. May 18 and 11:15 a.m. May 22. If the district-issued tablet was given to a faculty member, it's covered by insurance. Tablets issued to students are the responsibility of the students. If a student does not have insurance, the student is responsible for the replacement cost.

A 16-year-old boy also told police May 19 that $300 was stolen between April 27 and May 18 at the school.

In other recent incident reports from Hilliard police:

* An 82-year-old man told police May 24 that property worth $11,950 was stolen between Feb. 13 and 16 from a residence in the 5100 block of Vinings Ridge.

Stolen items included a man's watch, a bracelet, a necklace and two rings.

* A handheld video game, a tablet computer, a watch and other items, together worth $3,120, were reported stolen at 6:50 a.m. May 24 from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Crystal Ball Drive.

* A woman reported her vehicle was vandalized at 6:25 a.m. May 19 at Edler Street and Edler Court.

* A 22-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance at 8:20 p.m. May 20 on Interstate 270 North.

* A 25-year-old woman and a 22-year-old man were arrested for misdemeanor possession of marijuana at 5 p.m. May 23 in the 3700 block of Fishinger Boulevard.

* A 22-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a 20-year-old man was arrested for misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance at 9:25 p.m. May 23 in the 3600 block of Main Street.

* A man told police $100 was stolen between 11:15 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. May 19 from a building in the 5400 block of Scioto Darby Road.

* The front grille of a vehicle was reported stolen between 1:30 and 4 p.m. May 19 in the 4500 block of Cosgray Road. Property loss was reported at $87.

* A license plate was reported stolen between 6 p.m. May 14 and 6 p.m. May 19 from a vehicle in the 4200 block of Stream Bank Lane.

* A wallet containing credit cards, a driver's license and an ATM card was reported stolen at 8:05 p.m. May 21 from the 4700 block of Cemetery Road. Property loss was reported at $265.

* A pickup tailgate worth $500 was reported stolen between 4 p.m. May 23 and 4 a.m. May 24 from a vehicle in the 3900 block of Parkway Lane.

* Coins worth $5 were reported stolen between 3:15 and 3:45 a.m. May 24 from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Darby Glen Boulevard.

* A man told police $60 was stolen between 8:30 p.m. May 23 and 7 a.m. May 24 from a vehicle in the 3200 block of Prairie Gardens Drive.
