A Forest Ash Lane man, 21, was charged with armed robbery and possession of marijuana at 4:58 p.m. May 31 after allegedly pointing a handgun at a man and taking his $800 cellphone near the intersection of Larkwood Drive and Blue Ash Place.
The victim was a 42-year-old man.
In other Northland-area police reports:
* Assorted tools worth just less than $3,500 were reported stolen from two storage sheds at 8 a.m. May 31 in the 600 block of East Lincoln Avenue. A representative of the lawn-care firm that owns the items said they were removed by someone who pried open the shed doors sometime after 7 the previous evening.
* An 18-year-old woman said someone with whom she'd had a dispute threatened her at 2:22 p.m. May 30 as she was leaving a store in the 800 block of East Dublin-Granville Road. The victim said the individual told her, "If I catch you, I'm gonna put you to sleep," and she assumed this meant the person intended to kill her, according to the officer who took the report.
* Two women, both 27, and a witness told police they were the victims of an assault by two other individuals in the 5600 block of Ironwood Court at 11:37 p.m. May 29. Although one of the women had scratches on her face and knee, and the other had a red mark on her neck, both refused medical treatment.
* A $230 semiautomatic handgun was stolen between noon May 29 and shortly after midnight the next morning from a residence in the 1800 block of Tamarack Circle South, according to the gun owner.
