A report of a suicidal person at a Delaware business led to a woman's arrest on drug charges earlier this month.

Delaware police officers responded to a report of a suicidal woman about 11:30 p.m. June 5 in the 1100 block of Columbus Pike.

Officers found the woman, who was transported to a hospital for a mental-health evaluation, according to police reports.

Hospital staff discovered the woman was in possession of cocaine and drug paraphernalia, according to police reports.

Officers collected the evidence and arrested the 25-year-old homeless woman on charges of possession of a controlled substance, a fifth-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a fourth-degree misdemeanor, according to police reports.

* A woman reported a burglary occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 1 in the 100 block of Cheshire Street. Someone broke into the residence through a rear door and stole electronic equipment, according to police reports.

Reports did not list an estimated value of the items taken.

* A man reported a burglary occurred between 8:45 and 9 a.m. June 1 in the 300 block of East William Street. Someone broke into an occupied apartment and entered through a first-floor window, according to police reports.

* A man reported an attempted burglary occurred between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. June 1 in the first block of Hammond Street. The man said he interrupted someone attempting to break into his garage, according to police reports.

* A woman reported a theft occurred between 3 and 5:30 a.m. June 4 in the first block of Wells Street. The woman told investigators someone stole her wallet, which contained credit and identification cards, as well as $500 cash, prescription drugs valued at $467 and medical supplies valued at $4,500, according to police reports.

* An officer responded to a report of aggravated menacing about 9:30 a.m. June 2 at a business in the 900 block of Sunbury Road. An employee told the officer someone called the business and threatened a worker, according to police reports.

Similar threats have been made recently at some of the business' other locations throughout the U.S., according to police reports.

* A man reported aggravated menacing occurred shortly before 1:15 p.m. June 2 near the intersection of U.S. Route 23 and Meeker Way. The man told officers another man pointed a handgun at him from a nearby vehicle, according to police reports.

Investigators have identified a suspect in the case, according to police reports.
