Bexley police said the manager of a business in the 2700 block of East Main Street reported that at 6:34 p.m. June 4, someone stole a tip jar off the counter, taking about $30.

The thief, believed to be a female, departed the area on foot prior to police arrival. The theft was caught on camera by an in-store surveillance system, reports stated.

In other recent reports from the Bexley police department:

* A resident in the 900 block of South Cassingham Road reported the back window of her minivan was broken between 10 p.m. May 31 and 8:30 a.m. June 1 while it was parked in the driveway.

No entry was made and nothing was taken, according to reports.

* A resident in the 2300 block of Caroline Avenue told police he noticed on June 3 that someone had stolen miscellaneous property from the attached garage of his residence.

* A resident in the first block of Stanbery Avenue reported someone pried the top of the moulding away from her windshield on both sides between June 4 and 5.

* A resident in the 2700 block of East Broad Street reported someone stole her wallet from her unlocked vehicle between June 7 and June 8.
