ThisWeek Community News and presenting sponsor Wesley Communities invite the public to the annual Young at Heart Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at the Villa Milano, 1630 Schrock Road, Columbus.

Admission is free and open to all.

Numerous offerings will be available for attendees this year.

Many senior entertainment groups will perform on the Eldorado Scioto Downs main stage.

The Grandview Jollysteppers, Worthington Strutters, Fred Astaire Westerville, Mexican Folk Dancers and the Men in Black will headline.

Numerous exhibitors will be on hand to provide advice, screenings, special offers and more.

This year, Moller & Associates will offer individual consultations at the event. Sign up in advance to reserve a time by calling 740-587-1592.

Miracle-Ear will conduct hearing screenings in a private area.

Visit with all the local businesses that are participating this year and don’t forget to pick up an event passport, sponsored by Miracle-Ear, for a chance to win one of many prizes.

The senior talent competition, presented by Magic Cruises, is returning for a second year. A talented group of senior contestants will vie for the top honor.

Modlich Monument Co. is sponsoring the Senior of the Year award. Marshall Spalding is the 2017 winner and will be honored on the main stage for his contribution to the community.
