The Franklin County DUI Task Force has announced plans for two sobriety checkpoints tonight, July 7.

The first is from 9 to 11 p.m. at South Hamilton Road and Harbor Boulevard in southeast Columbus, about two miles south of Eastland Mall, according to the DUI Task Force.

The second one will be from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. July 8 about a mile north, at South Hamilton and Refugee roads.

The task force wants to impress upon those who will be consuming alcohol to plan for a designated driver or make other arrangements, according to its news release.

Anyone with questions should call task-force coordinator Sgt. Scott Downing at 614-525-6113.
