Anticipating an overflow crowd for the next monthly session of the Clintonville Area Commission, chairwoman Libby Wetherholt on July 28 announced a change of venue.

Instead of the meeting room of the Whetstone branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the Aug. 3 gathering will be held at the Clintonville Woman’s Club, 3951 N. High St.

CAC sessions begin at 7 p.m. and normally end shortly before 9, which is closing time for the library.

Wetherholt indicated she expected widespread interest in a presentation by a representative of Blueprint Columbus, focusing mainly on the dozens of rain gardens installed in sections of the neighborhood as part of the overall initiative.
