• At 2:18 p.m. July 21, a resident of Watkins Glen Court reported damage to a motor vehicle.

• At 7:01 p.m. July 21, a Northcrest Drive resident reported child abuse. An investigation is underway.

• At 7:44 p.m. July 21, police responded to a complaint of an intoxicated individual at a business on North Main Street.

• At 11:06 p.m. July 21, a 26-year-old Marysville woman was arrested for theft of merchandise from a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard.

• At 1:13 a.m. July 23, a 26-year-old Marysville man was cited for driving under suspension.

• At 1:41 a.m. July 23, a 22-year-old Hilliard man was cited for driving under suspension.

• At 3:39 p.m. July 24, a 23-year-old Richwood man was cited for driving under suspension.

• At 4:31 p.m. July 24, a resident of West Ninth Street reported a stolen vehicle.

• At 6:59 a.m. July 25, a resident of Cobblestone Way reported theft of power tools and a generator.

• At 1:10 p.m. July 25, a 53-year-old Marysville man was arrested for driving under the influence.

• At 3:23 p.m. July 25, a business on Coleman’s Crossing Boulevard reported theft of merchandise.

• At 4:21 p.m. July 25, an assault was reported at a park on North Cherry Street.

• At 6:34 p.m. July 25, an assault was reported at a park on North Maple Street after two teenage girls got into a fight near the Mill Creek Park baseball fields.

• At 11:22 p.m. July 25, a resident of South Vine Street reported a burglary.

• At 12:07 a.m. July 26, a resident of West Fifth Street reported a burglary.

• At 5:30 a.m. July 20 on East State Street in Milford Center, a 2008 Ford Edge struck a parked 2001 Chrysler Town and Country. The driver of the Ford, a 22-year-old Plain City woman, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

• At 5:39 a.m. July 20 while assisting the Dublin Police Department with a hit-skip crash investigation involving a 2008 Kia Optima, deputies stopped the suspect vehicle at Springdale and Black roads. A man ran from the vehicle, resulting in a foot chase, according to police reports. The suspect, a 21-year-old Mount Sterling man, was apprehended and charged with obstructing official business and resisting arrest. He was transported to the sheriff’s office.

• At 7:29 a.m. July 20 on U.S. Route 33 near Beecher Gamble Road, a 2013 Hyundai Elantra struck the back of a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze, which struck the back of a 2015 Honda Civic, which struck the back of a 2002 Buick LeSabre. The driver of the Hyundai, a 21-year-old Dublin man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

• At 12:01 p.m. July 20 while on patrol, a deputy checked a disabled vehicle parked on U.S. Route 42 near state Route 161. After further investigation, the deputy arrested the driver, a 62-year-old Plain City man, for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving under suspension. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

• At 3:18 p.m. July 20 on state Route 739 at Johnson Road, a 2007 Ford Ranger, a 2013 Honda CR-V and a 2010 GMC Terrain were involved in an accident. The driver of the Ford Ranger was transported to Memorial Hospital. The roadway was closed for about 70 minutes while the scene was cleared. The crash remains under investigation.

• At 2:32 a.m. July 22 as a result of a traffic stop on Main Street in Raymond, a deputy arrested a 17-year-old boy for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the sheriff’s office.

• At 1:50 a.m. July 23 as the result of a traffic stop on state Route 161 west of Kramer

Road, a deputy arrested a 22-year-old Columbus man for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the sheriff’s office.

• At 11:58 a.m. July 23 at state Route 4 and Neel Road, a 2007 Kia Spectra struck the back of a 2010 Nissan Altima. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Kia, a 92-year-old Richwood man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

• At 7:51 a.m. July 24, a business in the 13000 block of state Route 38 reported an injury crash involving a 2004 BMW 325i whose driver drove off the roadway, striking a ditch and fence before rolling the vehicle over and onto the hood of a 2005 Honda Accord that was parked in the parking lot. The driver, an 18-year-old Marysville man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to control a motor vehicle.

• At 1:58 p.m. July 24, a deputy was sent to a residence in the 30000 block of Le Masters Road to investigate the theft of a generator.

• At 4:53 p.m. July 24, a resident in the 23000 block of state Route 739 reported the theft of miscellaneous tools and money.

• At 6:12 p.m. July 24, a deputy was sent to the Union County Fairgrounds to investigate criminal damage to picnic tables.

• At 7:51 a.m. July 25, a business in the 9000 block of Heritage Drive reported a break-in in which a cash box was stolen.

• At 8:20 a.m. July 25, a deputy investigated an incident involving the underage consumption of alcohol that occurred at the Union County Fairgrounds.

• At 4:30 p.m. July 25, a business in the 24000 block of Honda Parkway reported the theft of a forklift.

• At 8:46 p.m. July 25 at state Route 245 and Buck Run Road, the driver of a 2012 Dodge Ram truck drove off the road and into a ditch and then struck a utility-pole guide wire.

• At 2:10 a.m. July 26 in the 21000 block of Delaware County Line Road, a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee was parked in the middle of the road. After further investigation, the 17-year-old driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Center.

• At 3:16 p.m. July 27 on U.S. Route 33 west of U.S. Route 42, a 2001 Dodge

Caravan was struck by a blown tire from another vehicle. A short time later at 3:39 p.m., a second crash occurred involving a 2012 Honda Civic that struck the back of a 2010 Mazda M6. The driver of the Honda, a 21-year-old Columbus man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.

• At 7:23 p.m. July 27 on state Route 736 south of Hickory Ridge Road, the driver of a 2003 Acura TL drove off the right side of the road and into a ditch and then rolled the vehicle over. The juvenile driver was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
