Police

• At 6:36 p.m. July 28, a 43-year-old Marysville man was arrested for criminal damaging and persistent disorderly conduct in the 100 block of South Main Street.

• At 1:16 a.m. July 29, a 52-year-old North Lewisburg man was arrested for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.

• At 9:29 a.m. July 29, a resident of Collins Avenue reported theft of a debit card.

• At 12:27 a.m. July 30, a 25-year-old Marysville man was cited for possession of marijuana.

• At 1:15 p.m. July 30, a business on South Plum Street reported damage to motor vehicles after someone broke windows on two cars.

• At 1:20 a.m. July 31, police responded to a breaking-and-entering incident at a business on West Fifth Street. Police have not made an arrest, but the case has been forwarded to a grand jury.

• At 1:42 p.m. July 31, a resident of Greenwood Boulevard reported theft of a temporary license plate from a motor vehicle.

• At 11:23 p.m. Aug. 1, a resident of West Fifth Street reported an assault.

• At 12:55 a.m. Aug. 2, a juvenile was cited for drug paraphernalia and underage consumption after an incident on Kentucky Circle.

• At 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3, a resident of Bay Laurel Drive reported a burglary.

• At 9:51 p.m. Aug. 3, a 37-year-old Hilliard woman was cited for disorderly conduct in the 900 block of Columbus Avenue.

• At 1:13 am. July 28 as a result of a traffic stop near the intersection of state Route 347 and state Route 31, a deputy charged a 26-year-old Marysville man with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

• At 8:40 a.m. July 28, deputies and units from the Southeast Hardin Northwest Union

Joint Fire District responded to the 32000 block of state Route 31 for an assault.

• At 9:17 a.m. July 28, a deputy investigated the theft and forgery of a check from a residence in the 21000 block of state Route 161.

• At 1:47 p.m. July 28 in the 21000 block of state Route 347, a 2017 Chrysler 300 was struck by a 2017 Acura MDX. The driver of the Chrysler, a 61-year-ol Prospect woman, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.

• At 7:12 p.m. July 28 at the roundabout at state Route 161 and Industrial Parkway, a 2007 Hyundai Elantra struck a 2000 Honda Accord. The driver of the Hyundai, a 22-year-old Columbus man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way.

• At 9:08 a.m. July 29 in the 23000 block of state Route 31, a 2014 Kia struck a 1994 Chevrolet mail truck. The driver of the Kia, a 56-year-old Kenton man, was issued a traffic citation for improper passing.

• At 12:27 p.m. July 30, an employee at a sports park in the 23000 block of state Route 37 reported damage to a garage door.

• At 1:16 p.m. July 30 at the intersection of U.S. Route 36 and Springdale Road, a 2003 BMW Z4 struck a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 23-year-old Marysville woman, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.

• At 2:29 p.m. July 30 in the 13000 block of U.S. Route 36, a 2003 Honda CR-V struck a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse.

• At 9:36 a.m. July 31, a resident in the 21000 block of Paver Barnes Road reported the victim’s identity being used to open unauthorized bank accounts.

• At 12:15 p.m. July 31, deputies and officers from the Plain City Police Department investigated the theft of a 1998 Chevrolet 1500 truck and a 2016 Quality trailer from a business in the 7500 block of state Route 161. The truck and trailer were recovered, and a 38-year-old Columbus man was arrested for grand theft. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

• At 3:24 p.m. July 31 in the 16000 block of Poling Road, a deputy investigated a hit-skip property-damage crash involving a black Honda Accord that struck a 2000 John Deere tractor and then left the scene.

• At 8:12 p.m. July 31 on state Route 31 south of Cotton Slash Road, the driver of a 2000 GMC Sonoma drove off the road and struck a guardrail. The driver, a 54-year-old Marysville man, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, driving under suspension and leaving the scene of an accident.

• At 7:58 a.m. Aug. 1 in the 14000 block of Robinson Road, the driver of a 2004 Ford Focus drove off the side of the roadway and struck a ditch. A 19-year-old Plain City woman was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.

• At 4:06 p.m. Aug. 1 in the area of state Route 161 and Lombard Road, a 2015 Ford F150 struck a 2000 Honda Accord and then struck a 2009 Chevy Equinox. A 21-year-old North Augusta, South Carolina, man, was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at a stop sign.

• At 6:34 p.m. Aug. 1 in the area of the U.S. Route 33 eastbound off ramp at Post Road, a 2007 Chevy Avalanche rear-ended a 2015 Honda Fit.

• At 4:22 a.m. Aug. 2 in the 22000 block of Johnson Road, a 2015 Dodge Caravan struck a deer.

• At 12:42 p.m. Aug. 3 at a business in the 10000 block of U.S. Route 42, the driver of a 2012 Chrysler Town & Country backed into a parked 2006 Ford Mustang.
