A representative of Columbus Mennonite Church, 35 Oakland Park Ave., reported at 10:36 a.m. Sept. 7 that an individual had posted three separate threats on the church's Facebook page between Sept. 5 and 6.

Columbus police reports did not indicate if the threats were related to the church's recent efforts to offer sanctuary to an undocumented immigrant.

In other recent Clintonville-area police reports:

* A 19-year-old woman contacted police at 1:32 p.m. Sept. 5 to report the theft of her debit card from her place of work in the 2700 block of North High Street. The victim said the debit card was taken between 6 and 11 a.m. Aug. 30 and subsequently was used to make purchases worth about $65 at three separate locations.

The victim's employer reportedly has video showing a co-worker taking the card.

* A representative of a business on Graceland Boulevard reported at 3:18 p.m. Sept. 5 that an individual had stolen $3,173 worth of cigarettes from the store.

A suspect whose name was provided allegedly took the cigarettes the previous day, according to reports.
