A 31-year-old man told officers he was assaulted and robbed between 10:30 p.m. and 10:58 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 5700 block of Millbank Road.

He provided the names of people he said robbed him of his cellphone and $1,100 in cash.

In other Northland-area police reports:

* A 22-year-old woman reported at 8:15 p.m. Sept. 5 she was assaulted by someone she knew at an apartment in the 4600 block of Northtowne Boulevard. She said the suspect also damaged her $680 cellphone.

* A woman contacted police at 1:45 p.m. Sept. 4 to report that her son had been robbed of his shoes at the intersection of Tamarack Boulevard and Bentley Road late the previous afternoon. The mother told an officer that more than one person confronted her son at 6 p.m. Sept. 3 and told him to give up the shoes, which were valued at $90.

One of the suspects allegedly pulled a black handgun "and told him to take them off now," according to the officer.
