Pickerington police recently received reports of a vehicle fire and a dumpster fire.
According to Pickerington Division of Police incident reports, officers were sent to the 1000 block of Hill Road North at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 5 on a report of a vehicle on fire in the parking lot of a business.
The Violet Township Fire Department was called and extinguished the blaze.
No injuries were reported and no damage amount estimate was listed on the report.
In the second incident, police were called to the 1600 block of Whitney Circle at 10:19 p.m. Sept. 7 on a report of a fire in a large metal trash bin started by two boys.
The fire department extinguished the blaze. An investigation into the arson fire is continuing.
In other recent Pickerington police incident reports:
* A 50-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man, both from Zanesville, were issued "no-trespass" orders at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 6 after they created a disturbance at a business in the 800 block of Refugee Road.
* A 19-year-old Pickerington man was issued citations for criminal damaging and vehicle trespass at 7:32 p.m. Sept. 6 in the 100 block of West Church Street.
Reports said the man was issued a date for a mandatory appearance in Pickerington Mayor's Court and released.
* Officers are investigating a report that someone was believed to be living without permission in a vacant home in the 600 block of Exeter Street.
Reports said officers went to the location at 1:42 p.m. Sept. 7 and recorded evidence of damage and items left behind by an unknown person.
