The past few months of my life have been hectic.

I got married two weeks ago, and the preparations for the wedding were exhausting and tedious, as anyone who has gone through the process knows quite well.

And in that time of planning, making decisions, confirming reservations, sending out invitations and banging down doors for those who didn't send back RSVPs, my kitchen has been woefully neglected.

But not anymore. With the wedding over and my new married life slowly becoming my new normal, I am determined to get back in the saddle. Many of my wedding gifts were related to the kitchen (Somehow, my friends and family know I love to cook!) so I'm on the journey of using all my new gadgets.

In the past week alone, I have tried three new recipes – some that have been bookmarked for years, but I had never made them. Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, it feels good to make my own meals again and to hone my cooking skills.

In the coming months, my cooking blog, TinyMessyKitchen.com, will be back in full force.

In the meantime, I have been posting photos of what I'm baking or what I had for dinner on my Facebook page. More content will come soon, so be on the lookout.
