A Westerville man claims a woman stole his car, wallet and prescription medication after he went in search of someone to "party" with.

According to reports, the man told police he met a woman in the Oakland Park area who "agreed to 'party' with" him on the night of Sept. 11, and the two went to an apartment in the 100 block of Huber Village Boulevard, reports stated.

The next morning, the man claimed the woman returned to the apartment to do a load of laundry, and they fell asleep on the couch.

When he woke up, he discovered the woman was gone and he could not find his wallet, keys or prescription medication, according to reports. He quickly realized his vehicle was missing and called police.

In other recent incident reports from the Westerville Division of Police:

* A Westerville man claims more than $20,000 in cash, a designer bag and a handgun were stolen from his residence in a burglary.

According to reports, the man returned home to the 1100 block of Three Forks Drive on the night of Sept. 11 to find his back door damaged and open. When he investigated, he found he was missing a bank bag filled with $21,650 that had been sitting in a designer duffel bag, according to reports.

He said his pistol and a power-tool set also were missing, reports stated.

The victim told police the money had come from the business he owns.

Reports state electronics and other valuables that were in clear view throughout the house were not disturbed.

The investigation is ongoing.

* The window of a vehicle was broken while it sat in the 100 block of Otterbein Avenue on the afternoon of Sept. 12.
