Deciduous is Delicious, 11 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Nature Center. Guests will learn about the treats trees and shrubs can provide on a 1-mile hike.

Full Harvest Moon, 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Ranger Station. Guests will take a 4-mile hike through fields and forest.

Blacklick Woods Metro Park

Story Time, 10 a.m. Sept. 29 at the Nature Center. Guests will enjoy stories about animals and create a simple craft.

Fall Foliage, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 30 and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Nature Center. Guests will see the park's display and discover the science behind the changing colors of leaves.

Bugs and Blooms, 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Nature Center. Guests will take a 2-mile walk to see wildflowers and insects that visit them.

Blendon Woods Metro Park

Photo Prowl, 9 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Nature Center. Guests will take a 2-mile walk and search for migrating birds to photograph.

Walk the Creek, 1 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Nature Center. Guests will take a 2-mile walk in the creek and over rugged terrain as they search for animals.

Highbanks Metro Park

9466 U.S. Route 23 N., Lewis Center

See the High Banks, 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the River Bluff Area, 8400 Olentangy River Road, Columbus. Guests will take a short hike and get a view of the feature that gives the park its name.

Howl at the Moon, 7 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Nature Center. Guests will go on a 3.5-mile hike with their dog.

Inniswood Metro Gardens

Sunny Sundays, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sundays, through Oct. 29. Guests will meet members of the Herb Society of America, Central Ohio Unit and have their questions answered.

Rocky Fork Metro Park

Metro Five-0: Level 3 Moon Walk, 7 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Millstone Picnic Area. Ages 50 and older will enjoy a 1.5-mile walk under the rising moon.

Scioto Audubon Metro Park

Pre-K Storytime, 10 a.m. Thursdays and Saturdays at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, 505 W. Whittier St. Bring little ones for a nature-inspired story or two.

Weekly Bird Hike, 10 a.m. Saturdays at the Grange Insurance Audubon Center. Guests will search for birds in the park.

Meet the Animals, 12:30 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Schrock Lake Picnic Shelter. Guests will visit with Ohio Wildlife Center's wildlife ambassadors.

Fast-paced Adult Full Moon Hike, 7:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Apple Ridge Bulletin Board. Guests will take a fast-paced 2.8-mile hike along gravel, paved and natural surface trails.

Slate Run Living Historical Farm

Fall Harvest, 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Farmhouse. Guests will help with seasonal activities as the farm prepares for winter.
