Hilliard Division of Police officers are investigating a burglary at a residence in the 4800 block of Heath Trails Road.

The burglary occurred between 11:30 a.m. and 11:55 a.m. Oct. 10, police said.

The homeowner's video camera recorded two males at the front door of the residence, according to the report. After ringing the doorbell, one of the men walked to the back door and forced entry into the residence by breaking a window.

The surveillance video has been posted to the police division's Facebook page.

"It's a very active case," Lt. Ron Clark said.

Because it is an active case, Clark said, police aren't releasing more details.

The first burglar was described as a young male, possibly a teenager, with brown or dark red hair. He wore a blue T-shirt, dark pants and gray shoes.

The second wore a bandana to cover his face, a black T-shirt and tan pants.

Anyone with information should call Hilliard police at 614-334-2490 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477.
