Bexley police said residents in the 2700 block of Brentwood Road reported someone entered their house Oct. 16 by breaking out the window glass on the pedestrian garage door.
About $200 worth of loose coins from a coin jar and approximately $2,000 in jewelry had been stolen from the master bedroom, reports stated.
The victims were not home at the time of the burglary, according to reports.

* The manager-owner of a business in the 2200 block of East Main Street reported someone stole a stepladder from the building access corridor at the rear of the business between Sept. 25 and Oct. 2.
* A resident in the 2400 block of Elm Avenue reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle between Oct. 14 and 15 while it was parked in his driveway and took a canvas bag containing $150 cash and $10 in quarters. Also taken was a leather identification case containing two Ohio State Racing Commission ID cards and three gift cards.
* An employee of a business in the 2200 block of East Livingston Avenue reported someone stole sunglasses from the store at 7:15 p.m. Oct. 11.
* A resident in the 200 block of North Remington Road reported that sometime between Sept. 27 and Oct. 4 prescription medication was lost or stolen from his residence.
