Grandview Heights police responded to two reports of bicycles stolen from garages last week.

A resident of the 1000 block of Grandview Avenue reported his bicycle was stolen between Oct. 17 and 19.

A resident of the 900 block of Palmer Road told police her bicycle was stolen between 3:15 and 4:15 p.m. Oct. 17. She said her garage accidentally was left open during that time.

In other recent Grandview police reports:

* A resident of the 1100 block of Parkway North reported Oct. 17 her car was broken into overnight. The woman said money was taken from the car.

She also said several unauthorized charges had been made to her credit card, though she remains in possession of her card and doesn't know how the card number was obtained. She told police she believes it may be related to the vehicle break-in.

* A resident of the 1400 block of Cambridge Boulevard reported Oct. 16 a check was stolen from a mailbox. The theft occurred between Aug. 15 and Sept. 6, reports said.

* A resident of the 1300 block of Elmwood Avenue reported Oct. 16 a satellite radio was stolen from her car in the past two to three months.

* The property manager at Summit Chase condominiums, 1000 Urlin Ave., told police Oct. 14 that money and four laundry cards were stolen overnight from a safe.

* A woman told police a wallet was stolen Oct. 11 from her purse. She said she placed her purse on a table in a building in the 1900 block of West First Avenue, and when she came back to the table, she found her wallet had been taken. The woman said she canceled all her credit cards, but not before one of them was used.

* A resident of the 800 block of Thomas Road reported Oct. 10 that $323 in purchases were made at a store between Aug. 30 and Sept. 29 using her debit-card information.

* A resident of the 1100 block of Willard Avenue told police Oct. 10 a sweatshirt, DVDs, miscellaneous change and prescription medicine were stolen overnight from her car.

* Two landscaping employees working Oct. 10 in the 1300 block of Grandview Avenue reported they each had a backpack leaf blower stolen from their company trucks.
