Rye bread is certainly one of the undisputed champions in the sandwich world. But when it comes to burgers, it’s a whole new ballgame.

ThisWeek staffers answer the question: Have you ever eaten a burger on rye bread?

Sarah Sole: I love rye bread.

Lisa Proctor: No. I can't do burgers on slices of bread.

Scott Hummel: In the oft-repeated words of Lee Cochran, “Child, please.” I’ll eat rye bread on anything.

Abby Armbruster: Maybe in the form of a patty melt. But typically I prefer my patty melts on white bread.

Neil Thompson: Nope. I'm not a fan of rye bread.

Dennis Laycock: No, because burgers go on buns. That said, rye bread is ambrosia and should be eaten daily.

Andrew King: I'm not super into rye bread. I'm not sure that would be my thing.

Lee Cochran: Yes, I have. I love rye bread.

Nate Ellis: I don't recall specifically but seems like I would've at some point. If not, I would.
