Voters in Canal Winchester, Groveport and Madison Township will see races for school board, city council and township trustees on the Nov. 7 ballot.

In Canal Winchester, six candidates -- Jill Amos, Will Bennett, Michael Coolman, Patrick Lynch, Bobbie Mershon and Bob Toledo -- are seeking election to two City Council seats. Voters will also decide who will fill three seats on the Canal Winchester Board of Education; candidates are Joan Hatley, Yuliya Hoehn, Jon Metzler, Brian J. Niceswanger and Michael Yonnotti.

Groveport residents will see four candidates on the ballot to fill four seats on City Council, thus ensuring the election of Edward G. Dildine, Becky Hutson, Scott Lockett and Marvin A. Stevens.

Residents in the Groveport Madison school district will choose from among a field of five to fill three school board seats. The candidates are Nancy S. Gillespie, Libby Gray, Patrick M. Niemann, Diana Fortner-Orum and Bryan Shoemaker.

Residents in Madison Township can choose from among seven candidates to fill two seats on the Madison Township Board of Trustees: Edward B. Dildine, Angela M. McDonald, Deborah K. Miller, John J. Pritchard, Maria Stewart, Kathleen Walsh and Sharon H. Whitten.
