Two more vehicle thefts have been reported in the German Village area, according to Columbus Division of Police incident reports.

A $2,000 Toyota Camry, manufacturing date unknown, was stolen between 1 and 9 a.m. Oct. 28 from the 800 block of City Park Avenue.

At 3:30 p.m. Oct. 29, a woman reported her $3,000 Pontiac Vibe was stolen after she left the car running, keys in the ignition, when she went to say "hello" to her mother in law who lives in the 600 block of East Beck Street.

The suspects who stole the car crashed it at the intersection of Ann and Beck streets, west of Parsons Avenue. The car was later impounded.

In other recent incident reports from the area:

* At 1:09 p.m. Oct. 27 at South Third Street and Easy Sycamore Avenue, a woman said a suspect grabbed a purse she was carrying and ran away. The suspect eventually dropped the purse as he was being chased by the victim and others.

* A $500 laptop, $26 listening device and $100 pair of sunglasses were stolen between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m. Oct. 28 in the 800 block of South Third Street.

* A $14 phone charger and $5 cash were stolen between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 7 a.m. Nov. 1 from a vehicle in the 700 block of Mohawk Street.

* Silver earrings valued at $100 and a $15 charger were stolen between 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and midnight Nov. 1 from a vehicle in the 200 block of East Kossuth Street.

* Four pairs of sunglasses, two books of CDs and other miscellaneous merchandise were stolen between 7:05 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 26 from a vehicle in the 1000 block of South Pearl Street.

* A handbag and its contents, all valued at $500, was stolen midnight and 6 a.m. Oct. 29 from a vehicle in the 200 block of Thurman Avenue.

* Between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and 7 a.m. Nov. 1, someone broke a glass door of a business in the 800 block of Mohawk Street and stole $30.

* Two sets of listening devices, valued at $160 and $200, two pairs of sunglasses, valued at $200 and $180, a bag containing $40 in change and miscellaneous documents were stolen between 11 p.m. Oct. 31 and 9 a.m. Nov. 1 from a vehicle in the 300 block of East Deshler Avenue.
