Concord Township voters retained two incumbent members of the board of trustees during Tuesday’s general election.
According to unofficial final results from the Delaware County Board of Elections at 11 p.m. Nov. 7, Bart Johnson received 1,359 votes (43.6 percent) and Joe Garrett received 1,352 (43.6 percent). Challenger Ron Dick received 387 (12.5 percent).
Johnson has served as a trustee for 12 years, and Garrett has served for eight years.
Concord Township residents also approved the renewal of a 1-mill road levy.
The levy was approved 1,558 (74.2 percent) to 542 (25.8 percent). The renewal will not increase taxes. Residents will continue to pay the amount they are currently paying.
The levy funds pavement replacement, repairs, maintenance and equipment the township uses for 46.2 miles of roadways.
