Four Hilliard Davidson High School students will sit in the director's chair for a set of three one-act plays to be performed Thursday, Nov. 9, to Saturday, Nov. 11, at the high school, 5100 Davidson Road.
On subsequent days, the students will stage "The Audition," a comedy by Don Zoldis about the perils of auditioning for a high-school production of "A Chorus Line;" "The Other Room " by Ariadne Blayde, a story in which an autistic boy makes an unlikely connection with a popular girl who shares his love of astronomy; and "Dark Road" by Laura Lundgren Smith, which depicts the slow descent into evil that occurs when a woman accepts a job at a Nazi concentration camp.
The shows will be directed by Tessa Aldridge, Michael Brennan and Savannah Gould, and David Shaffer, respectively, said Trace Crawford, director of Davidson's drama department.
Each performance will be at 7 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for each show and seating is limited. Tickets may be purchased in advance at locallevelevents.com or at the door.
