An Upper Arlington woman reported the possible loss of more than $13,000 an apparent email-driven gift card scam.

The Norwell Drive resident told police she received an email Oct. 11 from someone who said he was a representative of a group called Fesa Logistics.

The man told her that if she agreed to purchase gift cards from the company, she would earn a $3,800 commission, in addition to 10 percent discount on each card she purchased.

The Oct. 19 police report said incident involved the "possible theft" of $13,950.

In other Upper Arlington police reports:

* A man living in the 2700 block of Zollinger Road reported four checks valued together at $1,404 were taken from a mailbox in the 3700 block of Riverside Drive between Oct. 10 and Oct. 21, and that the checks had been cashed.

* A power saw valued at $1,800 was stolen from the back of a Columbus construction company's truck while it was parked in the 1800 block of West Henderson Road between 5 and 7 p.m. Oct. 20.
