Voters in the Delaware City School District chose to re-elect the two running incumbents for the district’s school board and added one new face Nov. 7.

Incumbents Frances O’Flaherty and Jayna McDaniel-Browning each both re-elected and will be joined on the board by newcomer Michael Wiener.

Deborah Kruse Guebert was the only named candidate on the ballot to not be elected.

With all precincts reporting Nov. 7, O’Flaherty was the top vote-getter with 4,172 votes, followed by McDaniel-Browning with 3,774, Wiener with 3,368 and Guebert with 3,130, or 28, 26, 23 and 21 percent, respectively, according to final, unofficial results from the Delaware County Board of Elections.

Write-in candidate Mark Butler received 282 votes, or 2 percent.
