A 79-year-old woman filed a report with Columbus police at 7:32 p.m. Nov. 6 regarding the theft of various items from her residence in the 5300 block of Bethel Park Drive.
The victim said a $6,000 hearing aid, $650 worth of jewelry and a nonstick skillet valued at $50 were taken between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Oct. 17.
In other recent Columbus Division of Police incident reports from northwest Columbus:
* A representative of a store in the 6000 block of Sawmill Road reported at 1:01 p.m. Nov. 8 a shoplifter stole $1,347.97 worth of merchandise at 10:32 p.m. Oct. 31.
The items included two vacuum cleaners and a sound bar speaker system.
* A 48-year-old woman, said her neighbor in the 1800 block of Snouffer Road threatened to kill her at 6:20 p.m. Nov. 8. "The suspect stated no threat was made," according to the responding officer. "Both the victim and the suspect have been involved in an ongoing neighbor dispute."
* A 52-year-old man said an someone spit on him and threatened to kill him in the 4300 block of Camden Circle at 4:43 a.m. Nov. 7. A woman said her boyfriend accidentally hit her in the nose while trying to grab her keys away from her, but she still believes she was assaulted.
The incident took place at 5:20 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 2700 block of Bethel Road.
"The suspect stated that he was trying to pull car keys away from the victim, but he never made physical contact with her," according to the responding officer. "The victim was not injured."
Reports said the woman was given a report number and referred to the city prosecutor's office.
