A number of churches and organizations in Reynoldsburg and Franklin County are offering free meals for Thanksgiving.

Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church members will serve an annual free Thanksgiving meal in two sessions this year, at noon and at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23 at the church, 1636 Graham Road.

Reservations are required, however, by visiting the church website at reynoldsburgumc.com or calling the church office at 614-866-5864.

Coordinator of Missions Beth Marshall said hundreds of people from all walks and stations of life have joined in the free meal each year.

"All are welcome," she said. "Our goal is to make sure anyone and everyone has a place to enjoy a warm Thanksgiving Day meal and to experience community in a place where they feel welcome and loved."

At Reynoldsburg Church of Christ, a community dinner is offered each month.

This month's dinner will be served at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at the church, 1649 Graham Road. No reservations required.
