Bexley police said a woman reported she was robbed of her cellphone between 7 and 8 p.m. Nov. 11 while parked in her car in the 900 block of Sheridan Avenue.

The offender grabbed the phone from the victim's hand and ran toward another location in the 900 block of Sheridan Avenue.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black man, between 20 and 25 years old, about 5 feet, 7 inches in height and 150 pounds in weight, reports stated. Reports also state the man was wearing a dark-blue hoodie and dark jeans.

* A resident in the 300 block of North Columbia Avenue reported that on Nov. 9, someone stole $33,390 from her by means of a telephone scam in which the offender posed as a representative of the Internal Revenue Service.

* A resident in the 700 block of South Cassingham Road reported the front and rear license plates of his vehicle were stolen between Nov. 8 and 11.

The victim's license plates had been replaced with stolen tags belonging to another vehicle, according to reports.

* The manager of a business in the 2400 block of East Main Street reported someone stole a tip jar containing between $30 and $50 from the counter of the store Nov. 9.
