Criminal mischief was reported at 12:57 p.m. Nov. 8 after property owned by the city of New Albany was found to be damaged.

Someone damaged a radar-operated speed-display trailer with black spray paint in the 6500 block of Cedar Brook Drive, according to the New Albany Police Department.

In other recent New Albany police incident reports:

* A 41-year-old Columbus woman was cited for OVI after a traffic stop at 2:15 a.m. Nov. 10 at state Route 161 and the Johnstown Road overpass.

* A 22-year-old man was cited with drug abuse and controlled-substance possession or use at 12:09 p.m. Nov. 9 after a traffic stop at New Albany and New Albany-Condit roads.

* A resident in the 5600 block of Harlem Road at 9:28 a.m. Nov. 9 told police someone took items from an unlocked vehicle in her driveway.

* A 26-year-old Flint, Michigan, man was cited for marijuana drug abuse and controlled-substance possession or use at 6:56 a.m. Nov. 9 after a traffic stop at Smith's Mill Road and Innovation Campus Way.

* A resident in the 4000 block of Sedgwick Drive at 2:02 p.m. Nov. 7 told police someone stole his trash bin.

* A resident in the 7900 block of Cole Park North told police at 8:37 a.m. Nov. 7 that someone had attempted to use his identity to obtain credit.

* A Columbus man was cited for drug abuse and controlled-substance possession or use at 4:50 p.m. Nov. 6 after a vehicle stop at West Campus and New Albany roads. Officers found marijuana during the stop.

* Identity theft was reported at 4:59 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 7600 block of Aspinwall South.

* Officers responded at 10:48 a.m. Nov. 1 to a report that two laptops were stolen from a construction site in the 2500 block of Beech Road.
