Police were summoned to an apartment in the 5700 block of Millbank Road at 8:07 a.m. Dec. 18 after a 31-year-old man said he came home to find a stranger standing there.
According to one of the reporting officers, the suspect told the resident he was "looking for someone."
The resident told police nothing appeared to be misplaced in his apartment.
"Suspect left when victim implied he was going to get a gun," the police report said.
The man departed the scene in a silver Toyota with loud exhaust.

* A $700 television set, a coffeemaker valued at $100 and $200 worth of costume jewelry were among items stolen during a burglary in the 1800 block of Brookfield Road that was reported Dec. 20 at 4:48 p.m.
The victim, a 38-year-old woman, said someone entered the residence by kicking in the back door after 7:25 that morning.
* What initially was thought to be a burglary in the 5600 block of Roche Drive turned out to be a dispute between roommates.
When officers arrived at 3:19 p.m. Dec. 16, the men, ages 21 and 22, both said they were assaulted during the incident. They were referred to the prosecutor's office, according to the report.
