More than $1,000 in property was stolen in a series of four thefts from motor vehicles that targeted a residential area off Brand Road.

The thefts were reported to Dublin police between 8:25 and 9:26 a.m. Dec. 19.

According to police reports, the property losses include $6 in property stolen from a vehicle in the 7400 block of Brandshire Lane; $1,537 in property, including clothing, credit cards and a personal bag, stolen from another vehicle in the 7400 block of Brandshire Lane; a $10 personal bag and $100 in cash stolen from a vehicle in the 5500 block of Mount Joy Court; and $2 in property and a personal bag and credit and debit cards stolen from a vehicle in the 5400 block of Asherbrand Lane.

In other recent Dublin police incident reports:

* A drug overdose occurred at 5:50 a.m. Dec. 19 at a residence in the 5100 block of Reserve Drive.

* Property, including firearms and medicine, was reported stolen at 8:23 a.m. Dec. 17 from a vehicle in the 6700 block of Fallen Timbers Drive.

* Nothing was believed to have been stolen after a break-in was reported at 12:31 a.m. Dec. 18 at a business in the 7100 block of Muirfield Drive.

* A 43-year-old woman was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs Dec. 17 at Tuttle Crossing Boulevard and Emerald Parkway.

* A 25-year-old man was cited for marijuana drug abuse Dec. 16 at Sawmill Road and Interstate 270 East.

* At 12:54 a.m. Dec. 15, $227.58 in negotiable instruments was reported stolen from a location in the 700 block of Shawan Falls Drive.

* Household items valued at $2,408 were reported stolen at 8:46 a.m. Dec. 15 from a home in the 8300 block of Albanese Circle.

* A tire was reported stolen Dec. 15 in the 6000 block of Perimeter Lakes Drive.
