A thief damaged property and stole tools last month at an Olentangy Local School District facility in Orange Township.

A man contacted the Delaware County Sheriff's Office on Dec. 20 to report breaking and entering occurred between 7:30 and 8:45 p.m. Dec. 19 at a district maintenance garage at 814 Shanahan Road. Someone broke into the garage through an exterior door, causing $250 worth of damage, according to sheriff's reports.

Someone stole tools valued at $500, including three drills, two staple guns and bolt cutters, from the garage, reports said.

* A man reported a theft occurred between 6 p.m. Dec. 18 and 9:45 a.m. Dec. 19 at a construction site in the 6100 block of Deems Drive in Orange Township. Someone stole a furnace valued at $2,000 from a residence under construction, according to sheriff's reports.

* A woman reported a theft from a vehicle took place between midnight and 7 a.m. Dec. 18 in the 4900 block of Emerald Lakes Boulevard in Liberty Township. Someone reportedly stole a GPS unit worth $125 and an emergency roadside kit valued at $50, among other items, from the car.

* Someone stole a tablet computer worth $400 from a car parked in the 1100 block of Bayridge Drive in Orange Township between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 26, reports said.

* A man reported a theft from a vehicle occurred between 10 p.m. Dec. 14 and 1:30 p.m. Dec. 15 in the 8900 block of Oak Village Boulevard in Orange Township. A wallet, a debit card and $3 in quarters were stolen from the car, according to reports.

Someone reportedly vandalized a vehicle between 10 p.m. Dec. 18 and 9 a.m. Dec. 19 in the 8700 block of the same street. A car's rear window was broken, according to sheriff's reports; the damage was estimated at $400.
