Known for their sweet-tart flavor, boysenberries can be seen in everything from yogurt to sorbet. Yet, it's not as popular in America as the raspberry, blackberry or blueberry.
ThisWeek staffers answer the question: Will boysenberries ever make a comeback?
Scott Hummel: I don't know why it would in Ohio. You can walk into any woods and get all the blackberries and raspberries you want. You might have to endure some poison ivy, but that's life.
Abby Armbruster: Only in the form of pie.
Sarah Sole: I hope so. They're tasty.
Andrew King: I think American berry favorites are pretty set.
Dennis Laycock: Go to Knott's Berry Farm, where the trend never died.
Lee Cochran: I prefer blackberries.
Lisa Proctor: I actually bought some boysenberry syrup this summer. It was awesome.
Neil Thompson: I hope I'm not the only person on the panel Googling "boysenberry."
Nate Ellis: I don't know what they are, but pretty much everything trends at some point.
