I was disgusted when visiting the Canal Winchester recycle bins behind the interurban this morning to see two huge piles of recyclables that would not fit in the bins.

Paper trash was blowing all over the area and boxes were just dumped, not broken down. These bins are a goodwill gesture from the town and are being abused with overload and misuse. Leaving paper trash just lying there is disrespectful to area residents and businesses.

It's time people are respectful and appreciative of this service and do not abuse this convenient location. We are proud of our downtown and cleanliness should be part of that pride.

Shame on those who leave these messes. Come back when the bins are empty and abide by the rules of recycling, including tearing down of boxes.
