Hilliard Division of Police officers are investigating an attempted robbery last week at CVS Pharmacy, 4610 Cemetery Road.

A woman entered the store at 1:45 p.m. Feb. 6 and walked to the pharmacy at the back, Lt. Ron Clark said.

The woman displayed a gun, he said, and demanded prescription medication.

The woman was not successful in obtaining any drugs and fled the store on foot, Clark said.

The woman demanded a specific drug but because of the investigation, Clark said, police are not disclosing what she demanded.

The woman was described as "young," likely in her 20s, with a dark complexion, but no estimated height or weight was available.

Clark said police are comparing the incident to others in Columbus.

"What happened (at the Hilliard CVS) appears to have the same M.O. as some incidents in Columbus," Clark said.
