Delaware County Sheriff's deputies quickly caught up with a thief who attempted to swipe some winter wear earlier this month from an Orange Township business.
Deputies responded about 8:15 p.m. Feb. 3 to a report of a theft at a business in the 100 block of Meadow Park Avenue. Someone stole a coat valued at $90, a pair of gloves worth $20 and a pair of socks valued at $15, according to sheriff's reports.
Deputies identified a 22-year-old Orange Township man as a suspect and placed him under arrest on a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, shortly after 11:45 p.m., reports said.
The sheriff's office recovered all three items stolen from the store in the incident, according to sheriff's reports.

* A woman reported a theft from a vehicle occurred before 9:15 p.m. Jan. 29 in the 7800 block of Norma Court in Orange Township. Someone stole a pair of sunglasses from a vehicle, according to sheriff's reports.
* A man reported a theft from a vehicle took place between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Jan. 26 in the 8700 block of Owenfield Drive in Orange Township. Someone stole tools valued at $558 from the vehicle, reports said.
* Deputies responded shortly before 9:45 p.m. Jan. 25 to the 8200 block of Orange Centre Drive in Orange Township after receiving a report of vandalism. A woman told deputies someone caused $200 worth of damage to one of her vehicle's tires between 7 and 9:15 p.m. when it was parked in the 7100 block of Graphics Way.
