A new style of Harvest Pizzeria is slated to open in Grandview Heights.
Chris Crader, founder and CEO of locally owned Grow Restaurants, said he is forming a partnership with Butcher & Grocer to open Harvest Pizzeria & Tavern in the Old Bag of Nails Pub site, 1099 W. First Ave.
Old Bag is expected to close Feb. 24.
The 3,200-square-foot restaurant has been in Grandview Heights for 21 years, making it the second-oldest location in the locally based chain, owner Mike Purdum said.
Purdum said he wants to place company resources elsewhere.
Crader said Tony Tanner, one of founders of Butcher & Grocer, a few storefronts away in the same strip center, will break down all the meats for the new Harvest.
The restaurant will feature Harvest’s core pizza program with additional menu items that highlight the relationship, Crader said.
The opening is months away, he said.
“There’s a lot of work to do,” he said.
