A 46-year-old man was fatally shot Friday, Feb. 23, and the gunman was in police custody after a fight at a pharmacy in Grove City.
David A. Wells, of Columbus and another man got into an altercation about 11:40 a.m. inside the Walgreens pharmacy at 2110 Stringtown Road, according to the Grove City police Facebook page. During the incident, the other man pulled out a gun and shot Wells, police said.
Wells was transported to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Police took the man with the gun into custody but have not identified the man or reported filing any charges against him.
No further information about the fatal shooting was available Friday night from Grove City police, whose last update was released at 3:32 p.m. Feb. 23.
