Delaware County Sheriff's deputies found evidence of breaking and entering after responding to an alarm at a business late last month in Orange Township.

Deputies responded shortly after 11:30 p.m. Feb. 22 to a burglary alarm in the 1200 block of East Powell Road.

Investigators determined someone had attempted to force entry to a business through a side door, according to sheriff's reports. Someone also caused $30 worth of damage to an overhead door panel at the business, reports said.

Investigators have not identified any suspects in the incident, according to reports.

* Deputies responded to a report of a theft in progress about 11 p.m. Feb. 21 at a business in the 6400 block of Columbus Pike in Orange Township.

Someone stole merchandise valued at $200, according to sheriff's reports.

* Deputies responded to a report of a theft in progress shortly before 4:45 p.m. Feb. 16 at a business in the 100 block of Meadow Park Avenue in Orange Township. Merchandise worth $186 was stolen from the store, reports said.

Deputies arrested a 20-year-old Ostrander woman and a 19-year-old Delaware woman on charges of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, reports said.

* Deputies responded to a report of a theft in progress about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 10 at a business in the 7200 block of Graphics Way in Orange Township. Someone reportedly stole construction material valued at $170.

Deputies arrested a 40-year-old Worthington man on a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, reports said.

* Deputies responded to a report of a theft in progress about 3 p.m. Feb. 9 at a business in the 3900 block of West Powell Road in Liberty Township. Someone stole $192 worth of meat and cheese from the business, according to sheriff's reports.

Deputies arrested a 48-year-old Columbus man on a charge of theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, reports said.

* A woman reported someone stole a vehicle valued at $15,000 between 12:30 and 9 a.m. Feb. 14 from the 1400 block of Windy Oak Way.

* A man reported a theft from a vehicle took place between 2 and 5:45 a.m. Feb. 17 in the 9000 block of Lake Ridge Drive in Orange Township. Someone broke into a car through the front driver's-side window and stole ammunition worth $11, according to sheriff's reports.

* A man reported vandalism occurred between 1 a.m. and 2 p.m. Feb. 20 at a residence in the 1400 block of Brittingham Lane in Liberty Township. Someone caused $200 worth of damage to a mailbox, reports said.

* A woman reported vandalism occurred between 11:45 a.m. Feb. 16 and 12:45 p.m. Feb. 18 at a residence in the 3800 block of Chapman Road in Liberty Township. Someone caused $200 worth of damage to a mailbox, according to sheriff's reports.
