Destination Hilliard will present a Rube Goldberg machine construction-competition showcase with an eye toward sustainability from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at the Makoy Center, 5462 Center St., Hilliard.
Admission is free.
Engineering and technology firms will construct machines, not exceeding 300 cubic feet in volume, with the task of pouring a bowl of cereal. Materials will be primarily recycled. Participants have to adhere to a set of specific rules including dimensions, components and team behavior.
